France & Corsica


Provence and Côte d'Azur are the areas that distinguish the Southern France. According to legend, God created the Provence with all the beautiful things that were left over from the creation of the world. Provence is near the Cote d'Azur, although its seaside towns are very far from the trendy Cannes, Nice, Antibes. Starting from Marseille, the capital of Provence, which offers much more than what you'd expect to see. Further along the coast, Martigues and Saints Maries Sur La Mer small characteristic marinas with its colorful houses and great sea food, where it is possible to rent a sailboat or motorboat. Although no one thinks of Provence as a place where to live the sea, here we are right in the middle of Mediterranean and the waters are crystal clear, as in the area right around the Calanques in Marseille. And the most famous coast in Europe, a lush garden overlooking the sea, is the Côte d'Azur. 30 little marinas in just over a hundred miles, a real record. Yacht charter of sail boats in bareboat, or crewed yacht rentals in these areas are the easiest way to experience this beautiful coast, staying out of the social life and mass tourism. The mild climate of the Mediterranean has drawn boating enthusiasts from all over northern Europe contributed to this success but also the airport of Nice, a little over an hour's drive from all major European cities, while for those coming from 'Italy is convenient the highway.
Corsica “The island of beauty ", as it used to be called, is a real mountain in the sea. The island has more than 1000 km of coast between the bays, sandy and rocky beaches. The West Coast is more diversified, thus being exposed to prevailing winds. There are many deep bays on this coast. The eastern shore is more straightforward: there are long, flat stretch of coastline of the eastern plain. Corsica has managed to preserve natural areas in an international marine park, nature reserves (the best known are those of Scandola, northwest of the island, and Bonifacio, the southernmost) and the Regional Natural Park of Corsica, quietly visited with a charter boat, either sail or motor boats in which you are yourself, "the crew", or renting a gulet or a comfortable sailing boat and crewed motor yacht.
